Hadar Seminar at Mandel Leadership Institute - Building Educational Vision
Founders of Yeshivat Hadar (YH), an institute of Jewish study, prayer and personal growth, took part in a seminar at the Mandel Leadership Institute April 30th – May 7th. The seminar served as the culmination of a year-long fellowship with Mandel, which helped the three educators: Rabbis Ethan Tucker, Eli Kaunfer and Shai Held, develop their educational vision for YH.
Over the year, Tucker, Kaufner and Held have interacted and learned with Mandel faculty, some functioning as personal tutors, from around the United States and Israel, including Professor Dan Pekarsky, David Stern, Devora Steinmetz and Elisheva Angelovitz.
In this one-off educational venture, MLI provided the three founders of Hadar with a fellowship to assist them create a deeper understanding of the vision that informs Hadar. This Seminar focused on creating an in-depth understanding of issues relating to culture creation, and what it means to build organizational culture which supports and strengthens educational goals.
