Mandel Jerusalem Fellows from around the world gathered in Israel in February for the 11th Mandel Jerusalem Fellows International Colloquium; The colloquium provided an exciting chance to interact with leading international and Israeli thinkers, to reflect on central issues in Jewish education, to network with peers, and to re-energize at a secluded retreat at the Dead Sea.
In addition to lectures from outstanding scholars, the program included textual study, consulting opportunities and a visit to the Mandel Center for Leadership in the Negev at Ben Gurion University. |

The Colloquium was also built around sets of workshops guided by the rich experience and expertise of the graduates themselves. Based on their participation and input, the encounter created a community of learning and practice.
A renewal of a longstanding MJF tradition, the Colloquium provided a springboard for ongoing professional conversation and mutual support within the Mandel Leadership Institute community. For Jewish educators working around the world, this opportunity is rare and greatly appreciated. |
