According to the White House website, President Barack Obama announced his intent to nominate several scholars and professionals to key administration posts, among them Prof. Adam Gamoran, a consultant to Mandel Leadership Institute and a former member of Mandel Foundation-Israel's International Academic Advisory Committee.

Prof. Gamoran is a nominee for the National Board for Education Sciences of the Department of Education.

President Obama said, “I am grateful that these impressive individuals have chosen to join my administration at this important time for our nation. I look forward to working with them in the coming months and years.”
