The Graduation Ceremony for MLI Fellows will take place at the Bible Lands Museum on Tuesday 2nd September 2008, from 6pm to 9pm.
This year, the event will not only serve as a graduation ceremony, but will also mark the beginning of the academic year at the Institute, and will welcome our new fellows to the Mandel community.
Honoring the ceremony with their presence will be: Head of the IDF Education and Youth Corps, Brig. Gen. Eli Shermeister; Director-General of the Ministry of Education, Shlomit Amichai; and founding president of the Metzilah Center, Professor Ruth Gavison. Professor Gavison will deliver an opening address on the subject of “Challenges for Educational Leadership in the 21st Century that is Jewish, Zionist and Humanist”.
